Umbrella brand guidelines

The umbrella brand guidelines support members in designing their offers and communication in line with the tourism brand world of Upper Lusatia. It shows how the Active, Family and Culture sub-brands can be used in a targeted manner and provides guidance on visual language, themes and tonality. The result is a coherent appearance with recognition value - and an individual profile at the same time.

Support for blogger and influencer trips

We support our members in the planning and implementation of blogger and influencer trips in order to present Upper Lusatia authentically and with a wide reach. From the selection of suitable content creators to program coordination and networking on site, we provide advice and support. This creates credible insights and valuable media attention for businesses and offers.

Access to the Outdooractive portal
Members have the option of obtaining access to the Outdooractive online portal on request. There they can independently post and maintain their company, institution, events or tourist offers. In this way, content is recorded centrally and can be made visible via various tourism playout channels - an important basis for digital reach and up-to-date guest information.

Digital reach through data networking
By connecting primary systems such as Outdooractive, Regiondo, DAMAS and Feratel to the Saxon data hub SaTourN, tourism content is bundled centrally and displayed widely. The collected data also flows into the Knowledge Graph of the German National Tourist Board, thus increasing national and international visibility.
This reach is set to expand further in the future: thanks to a cooperation between the SaTourN network and the Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland, events can also appear in associated daily newspapers such as the Sächsische Zeitung and Leipziger Volkszeitung in the future. In this way, members benefit from a strong digital and media presence across numerous channels.

Connection to booking systems
Members have the option of linking their offers to the Feratel booking system. This makes your offers visible online and directly bookable - quickly, easily and with little effort. Your data is maintained centrally and your offer appears on numerous popular platforms and in the SaTourN open data project. You also benefit from Saxony-wide campaigns and personal support from regional contacts.

Achieving more together - through advice, exchange and partnerships!
We support our members with individual advice and practical guidance - especially on digital topics such as online visibility, data maintenance and system connections. At the same time, we are available as a reliable point of contact for organizational questions, funding opportunities and tourism developments.
Through our strong network, including with the Saxony State Tourism Association and Tourismus Marketing Gesellschaft Sachsen, we bring regional players together with important partners at state level. In this way, we promote exchange, knowledge transfer and joint projects - for the benefit of our members and the entire destination.

Destination strategy 2030 for Upper Lusatia (preliminary)
The destination strategy is the joint strategy of the MGO and the Tourism Advisory Board for the tourism development and marketing of Upper Lusatia. It fits in with the tourism strategy of the Free State of Saxony and ensures not only the recognition of Upper Lusatia as an official destination by the Free State, but also a common focus and measurability of the work. The strategy is currently being reviewed by the responsible state ministry; official confirmation is still pending.
